ABOUT CCELA
We are a privately-run, not-for-profit organisation providing a quality, family-oriented home for orphaned children in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and support for vulnerable and elderly members of the surrounding community.
Bringing hope to the needy and orphans can make a change in everyone's life.
WHAT WE DO
CCELA Orphanage have one home in Addis Ababa, providing rehabilitation, care and holistic support to in a loving environment to orphaned children. Despite the recent Government decision to close international adoptions, CCELA remain committed to provide a secure, loving home to as many children as possible. We facilitate skill training for Nannies working in both our own facility as well as other Government-run homes.
Our organisation also extends to running a sponsorship program for vulnerable children, families and elders in the community, providing the necessary economic, medical and psychosocial support for them to live healthy, independent lives.
