CCELA’s Community sponsor children, along with their families, gathered at CCELA for a morning tea to receive their School Essentials care pack donations. The happiness and pride is evident in their beaming faces. For most, this was the first time ever receiving brand new clothes and shoes.
We also extend a warm welcome to two new staff members at CCELA. Tensay and Haimanot, pictured below, have joined our team as Nannies to assist in the day to day care of our new babies and toddlers who joined our home in February. Both ladies have previous experience working in another Orphanage, and we are proud to offer these ladies not only wonderful working conditions and living quarters, but support in their schooling with Tensay studying hairdressing and Haimanot studying to become a nurse. Our children have already become very attached to the ladies.
