A vision for a brighter future

Tasmanian Eye Institute and Debbie Bowerman recently donated some prescription glasses to CCELA to distribute to the elderly community members in Addis Ababa who we support through our sponsorship programme.

Watching their reactions when first trying on the glasses, and the amazement and joy on their faces from being able to see clearly (for most, for the first time ever!) was priceless.

A very big THANK YOU to Debbie and the team at Tas Eye Institute for this life-changing donation, the future is looking much brighter for the 30+ recipients of your glasses.
